His professional background includes top global firms like Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Groupon, where he designed, built and implemented technology to support inventory, customer service, content publishing and pricing automation for 1 Billion+ USD e-commerce businesses. He is a keen digital enthusiast working towards democratizing the world of consumer understanding and building a better purchase experience for consumers around the world.

  • Marcia Young is Sr Advisor, Consumer Intelligence at FlavorWiki. Marcia recently retired from Mondelez International where she was Sr. Director of Consumer Science. Marcia’s prior roles include global leadership positions in Consumer/Sensory Science at Kraft Foods Inc, Cadbury Plc, Campbell Soup Company, Sara Lee Bakery and Gerber Products Company. Marcia also held leadership positions in Product /Process Development while at Sara Lee Bakery and Campbell Soup Company. Marcia is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS degree in Food Science and Technology and has spent 40 years in the food industry. Marcia enjoys the coaching and mentoring of others in the field of sensory/consumer science.
